Did you know that in 1837 Joseph Freidrich Sobernheim was the guy who coined the term myocarditis? He, however lumped disorders together including cardiomyopathies due to for example ischaemic heart disease and hypertensive heart disease. In the 1980s, the World Health Organization (WHO) and the International Society and Federation of Cardiology looked to differentiate myocarditis from other cardiomyopathies. A new type of EKG called MCG with a 3-D picture of cardiac function may be helpful in Dx of COVID related Myocarditis. Tx may want to explore is Rapamycin, Methylene Blue, Peptides.
